Not Pig-Latin Exactly

Perhaps things have gotten out of hand. I believe we've gone from educating to flat-out messin' around.

I decided to show J the "Latin" names that were used on The Roadrunner Show. I found a list HERE. Below are a few examples:

For the Roadrunner:

  • Acceleratii incredibus
  • Delicius - delicius
  • Birdius tastius

For Wile E. Coyote:

  • Carnivorous vulgaris
  • Famishus-famishus
  • Eatibus almost anythingus

Can you guess what this research inspired? You are correct.

Here are J's "Latin" descriptions for Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner:

For the Roadrunner:

  • Super fastus
  • Coyote-safus birdius
  • Good-bye teethus that willus eatibus meus

For the Coyote:

  • Non-fullius doggius
  • Don't go, dinnerus
  • Run-runnius tous your luchius

Not too bad for a six-year-old! Were you intrigued? Are Latin labels forming in your mind? Leave a comment so we can add them to our list!

Offus to dous OTHER subjectii!
