The Balloon Festival

Every year a resort town nearby has a balloon festival. I took J to the 6:30 AM launch when he was four and we had so much fun. This year L got to go and we decided to try the evening launch this time. Another perfect day and and good time together as a family. What more could you want?

The balloons launch from an open field where everyone can wander around and see them up close. They also had vendors, live music, and, the best of all, a "Hopper." This one was huge with slides, tunnels, everything. J played for quite a while as the balloons were being readied.

The horse (Black Jack) was there as one of the activities. A very nice horse and his friend, The Dog. Every time someone took a ride on the horse, the dog barked and barked until they came back and then The Dog greeted the horse with happiness.
