What a beautiful day it was! 72 degrees with sunshine and the perfect balance of humidity. We went to the parade we have in our small town (pictures below), and then returned for a scavenger hunt for the kids, and a menu that WILL be repeated next year! Does this make your mouth water?
BBQ Pulled Beef, Marinated Grilled Chicken, Southern Macaroni Salad, Sweet Tea, the usual chips with Onion Dip (soup mix and sour cream), Watermelon, Cake and Ice Cream.
Cake and Ice Cream, you say? Well, Miss Girl is J's cousin and she turned five a few days after the 4th. We thought we'd celebrate everything together. Miss Girl thinks that there will ALWAYS be a parade and fireworks for her birthday!
