THE Christmas List

In a write-on/wipe-off Christmas book J has, there is a page that has three scrolls for writing out the child's Christmas wish list. As I was cleaning upstairs this morning, I heard a voice informing me that the list was complete.

If we had approximately 20,000 extra dollars lying around, we would be able to grant the wishes on this list. However, we don't. But, the list makes for good reading...

• Hiccup Warner (J gets the hiccups all the time. This gadget would give warning that hiccups were about to start and provide a button to push to head them off. I don't think Toys-R-Us carries this.)
• Remote control Wall-E
• Extra train tracks (For his already large train set. I told him no.)
• Kid-size pool table (because the one in the garage is too big)
• Drum set (the real deal)
• 7-year-old brother (Of course, the Child Shop is the place to get one of these.)
• Magic Hat
• Thomas the Train characters: Edward and Toby
• Extra-powerful binoculars (So he can see for miles. Perhaps the military has a spare we can buy?)
• Cowboy boots
• Ice cream maker (We already have one.)
• Robot-making-kit with METAL parts (Because our kit with the cardboard parts wasn't sturdy enough.)
• Pet kitty (HERE is how wanting a cat came about!)
• Cars poster (Already have one. He forgot about it.)

There you have it. If anyone has a spare 7-year-old boy they'd like to give as a present, let me know.
