Prose by J

This morning J came downstairs with a paper on which he had placed eight stickers in a vertical row. I suggested to him that he could write a sentence next to each sticker describing the picture.

The wheels began to turn and he asked if he could write "a poem that doesn't rhyme." I explained what "prose" was and he quickly went to work. He decided that he wanted to say "golf" instead of basketball. I copied what he wrote, punctuation and all.

(Since he wrote in a very light marker that wouldn't scan well, I scanned the stickers and typed his results. Each line corresponds with a sticker.)
