I've divided my monthly sheet into categories in which I fill in the specifics. In my weekly calendar I flesh out the items. April: - Author of the month: Jessie Haas
- **C/H/S/G: Earth Day
- Continents: Mexico Lapbook
- Holidays: Easter, Arbor Day (5/1), Bird Day (5/4), Cinco de Mayo (5/5)
- Math: Verbal Lessons
- Science: Birds, Apple Blossoms
- Bible: Big Truths for Little Kids, Chapter 1-24
- Outdoor Hour: Challenges 19 - 22 (one each week)
- Music: Drum lessons
- Art: Renoir, Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Rousseau from Discovering Great Artists.
- Grammar: Cursive writing, Fairy Tale Unit Study (I'll be posting about this later.)
**C/H/S/G stands for Citizenship, History, Social Studies, and Government. It's a very broad category for our state. |
